HOW TO REGISTER

Middle school teachers:
1. Select a student quanitity from the MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT menu above.
Middle school students must be part of a three-student team.
2. Select a teacher/adult quantity from the MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER menu above.

High school teachers:
1. Select a student quanitity from the HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT menu above.
High school students must be part of a two-student team, and each team must have a teacher.
2. Select a teacher/adult quantity from the HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER menu above.

NEXT, REGISTER VOLUNTEER JUDGES:
Register your ADDITIONAL judges by selecting a quantity from the VOLUNTEER JUDGE menu above.
Schools must register at least one teacher/coach to accompany student debaters.  For every four students who register to compete, the school must recruit one adult (a parent, teacher, or other willing person) to volunteer as a tournament judge. No experience necessary! Judges are encouraged to attend the debate workshop for teachers on Friday, May 8.

We MUST receive a liability waiver, by the day of the event, for each student in attendance. Students will NOT be permitted to attend without it. Download the form

Teachers/coaches, it is your responsibility to supervise your students during the tournament at all times.  Please do not leave your students unaccompanied for extended periods.  In particular, ensure that a responsible adult is present with your students during meals and breaks. The tournament director and trainers are not responsible for your students' safety or behavior.  Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.
